In February 2019 we have imported the Icelandic stallion Prins Valíant frá Þúfu í Kjós (IS2011125435) directly from Iceland.
Prins Valíant is five gaited, 144 cm tall and has high assessments for his conformation, gaits and ridden ability.
He has a calm and friendly character and is very easy to handle and ride. He has some offspring in Iceland and has sired foals in New Zealand since early 2020.
Prins Valíant is standing at stud in Christchurch and is also available for breeding via AI within New Zealand. He is only serving purebred Icelandic mares.
Vindur fra Kirkjuferjuhjaleigu (IS2019182022) was born in Iceland in July 2019 and has been imported to New Zealand as a foal together with his mother.
He was bought by Christchurch Icelandic Horses in 2023 and has been started under saddle here.
Vindur has a lot of clear 4 beat tölt and is also very friendly and relaxed. He has the beautiful colour silver dapple black.
He already has some offspring in New Zealand and is standing at stud here in Christchurch.
